The Hairpol app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you create in the app stays on your own device.

In short
The app is serverless. You do not create an account, you do not sign in, and you never provide an email address. The app makes no network requests on its own. Your photos and tracking data never leave your device — they do not reach us or anyone else.
What is stored on your device
When you use the app, the following is stored only on your device: your procedure date and procedure type, photos you take or add from your library, the notes and angles you assign to them (front, top, right, left, back), comparisons you save, your reminder preference and language choice. None of this is sent to any server.
Your photos
Photos are stored in the app’s protected container on your device; no other app can read them. EXIF location data is stripped from saved photos — where a photo was taken is never retained. The photo folder is excluded from iCloud and iTunes backups by default; you may opt in to backup inclusion from Settings inside the app. CloudKit sync is disabled for the app’s local database.
Why we ask for permissions
Camera: so you can take your progress photo inside the app. Add to Photos: only if you choose to save a before/after comparison image to your own library. Face ID / Touch ID: only if you enable it, to lock the app behind biometrics — your biometric data is never shared with the app; verification is performed by the operating system.
Third parties
The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK, and no third-party dependencies. When you tap a phone, WhatsApp, email, maps, or web link inside the app, your device opens the corresponding system app; from that point the privacy policy of that service applies.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete all your photos and tracking history from Settings inside the app (“Delete all tracking data”). Removing the app from your device also deletes everything. We hold no records about you to delete.
Children
The app supports tracking a medical procedure and is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 — we do not collect data from any user.

Changes to this policy
If the app’s data behaviour changes, this page will be updated and the effective date revised. You will also be informed inside the app if the change is material.
